No doubt you have been aware of the Palestinian protests against Israel and President Trumps opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem.
We are told by the media that the indigenous Palestinians are protesting against the loss of their ancestral homelands, which according to Mahmoud Abbas they have held for 7000 years. That their righteous peaceful ‘march’ has been mercilessly shot at by the Israelis. Well, if you have watched the huge crowds pressing towards the Israeli border throwing petrol bombs, stones and sling shots, and flying kites designed to cause fires, all hidden by huge clouds of burning tyres, you might come to a slightly different conclusion. Yes, the Israelis have been forced to use live rounds, because the Palestinians are encouraged to martyr themselves and their children by their Hammas provocateurs to gain sympathy from naive Westerners.
But what about those Palestinian land claims? Let PLO executive Zahir Muhein speak – in a march 1977 interview. He said : “The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian State is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians. Palestinians, Syrian and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people. Since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism.”
So it is no surprise that Fathi Hammed, the then Hamas Interior Minister said in March 2012, “Who are the Palestinians?. We have many families called al-Masri [ the Egyptian], whose roots are Egyptian ….We are Egyptians, we are Arabs, we are Muslims.”
Hadrian Relandi, a geographer and language expert during the Ottoman rule in the 1600’s, wrote a whole book about his tour of the land and reported that most of the inhabitants were descendants of the original Jewish population and the Greek speaking population which the Byzantines imported to Christianise the land. There were few Muslims – mostly nomadic Beduins whose descendants, with their back tents freely wander over Israel today. He found the land almost empty and desolate, still laid waste, centuries after the Roman destruction of Judah.
Over 100 years later the British consul in Palestine reported in 1857, “The country is in a considerable degree empty of inhabitants and therefore its greatest need is that of a body of population.”
As Jews fleeing persecution began returning and the Ottomans were defeated in Bosnia, Moslem refugees from Russia, Asia, North Africa and other Arab counties were settled in the North, but their numbers were dwarfed in the 1900’s during the British Mandate by many Arabs keen to work for the successful Jewish immigrants who were restoring fertility to the land. The British PM Winston Churchill, reported in 1939 “Far from being persecuted, the Arabs have crowded into the country.”
So, far from being indigenous, the now Arabised non-Jewish population are not the victims of Jewish colonialism, but largely recent colonists themselves, which is why the UN declared in 1948 that a fleeing person who had lived there for two years could be classed as a Palestinian refugee.

Those Palestinians who chose to stay in Israel rather than leave, live there to this day as Israeli citizens with equal rights. Israel is far from perfect but compared to most Arab lands it is a free and civilised democratic country.
So, maybe we should not be taken in by our left leaning media who hate Israel because it epitomises the successful Western democratic system they so despise.
The Arab hatred of Israel will not allow them to accept the God of Israel, even when Jesus Christ returns and is victorious at Armageddon. Zechariah 14:17-19, tells us that after Christ’s return, Egypt, symbolising the Muslims, will refuse to go up to Jerusalem to worship with the rest of the worlds representatives . The Palestinians will then once again flee from Israel rather than abandon their moon god Allah, leaving only those of their brethren who have become Christians.
‘And if any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, there will be no rain on them. And if the family of Egypt does not go up and present themselves, then on them there shall be no rain; there shall be the plague with which the LORD afflicts the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. This shall be the punishment to Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.’
Zechariah 14 does not tell us how long it will take for the Islamic nations to recognise that their death loving religion is a hoax which Satan braggs about in the Koran itself.
The Qur’an has this message for its followers, for when Judgment Day eventually arrives; “Satan will say, ‘God gave you a true promise. I too made promises but they were false ones: I had no power over you except to call you, and you responded to my call, so do not blame me, blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me. I reject the way you associated me with God before. A bitter torment awaits such wrongdoers.” Surah 14:22.
